You are doing research on Beach Body because someone approached you about it and you want to know if this company is legit or a scam. That’s what we’re about to find out.
If you have been here before, welcome back!
Thank you for taking the time to check out my Beach Body review!
One of the common questions I get asked often is if Beach Body a scam or not.
We’re going to take the next few minutes to take a look and get some answers.
The main concern I have for people who are researching this opportunity is that I don’t want them to get burned. In the profession of network marketing, anything could happen.
A company ends up shutting down in a few months due to bad business decisions for being non-compliant, compensation plan change, or the company not paying it’s distributors.
Even worst, your direct sponsor or upline leaves the company. Leaving you hanging to dry.
I understand that many of you are new. Sometimes we are not in a position to make a solid business assessment due to inexperience.
Additionally, I am going to offer you a way for you to escape the ‘9 to 5’ if you decide that this company is not for you.
You landed on this blog because you are thinking about joining Beach Body because someone approached you about it or you just want to try out their products.
Unlike all the other Beach Body reviews on the internet, this is completely third party unbiased. I have no relationship with this company what so ever so when you read this blog post all the way through and pay attention, I can assure you that I am not going to ask you to join or buy.
By the time you have read this unbiased review, you will be able to decide if Beach Body is a fit or not. I do not promote, nor I am affiliated with Beach Body. I stand neutral in the current development of the Beach Body business.
With that said, let’s dive in!
What is Team Beach Body?
Team Beachbody is an MLM company that focuses on both workout, nutrition and portion control. It is a subsidiary of Beachbody. Beachbody, created in 1998 by Carl Daikeler and Jon Congdon in Santo Monica, California.
The company is similar to:
It is different from other weight loss programs because it provides more of a holistic approach to weight loss which is a good thing.

The Team Beach Body compensation plan
There are 2 main ways to earn an income from Beachbody:
Here you will earn a commission rate of 25% of the sales that you make from your customers and you will also earn 15% from your personally enrolled club members. This part of the compensation plan is luckily not that complicated.
Commissions from your team
This is where the complicated stuff gets in the way. I mentioned before that you will need to go through 14 different levels in order to reach the top. Each level has its own benefits and its own qualifications. Below is a list of the levels that you will find:
- 1 Star Diamond
- 2 Star Diamond
- 3 Star Diamond
- 4 Star Diamond
- 5 Star Diamond
- 6 Star Diamond
- 7 Star Diamond
- 8 Star Diamond
- 9 Star Diamond
- 10 Star Diamond
You will only be able to have 2 legs from the start which will really limit your earning potential and they call it your left and right leg. You also need to be an Emerald to be able to have these legs. Both your legs need to earn a total of 300 TV (Team Volume) together where one leg needs to have a minimum of 100 TV. When your teams reach 300 TV, it will be called a cycle.
Emerald Coach will earn $14 per cycle; Ruby coach will earn $16 per cycle and Diamond coaches will earn $18 per cycle.
How to join Team Beach Body
- $39.95- A one-time fee for the Business Starter Kit that includes a coach welcome book, 30-day access to your coach online office, a personalized coach website, and support tools.
- $15.95/month- This is an automatic monthly fee once you become a coach for a website and a subscription to Success magazine. Part of the magazine talks about legitimizing MLM as opposed to Fortune, Entrepreneur, Inc. Fast Company, and BusinessWeek. The $15.95 seems like no big deal to some, but it’s strange how some freaked out when Netflix increased their price by just a buck when they provide an expensive unlimited service at half of this fee.
- Weekly Club Fees – To qualify for their customer lead program, you have to be a club member which is $2.99 a week billed quarterly.
- Conference Fees – The conferences are completely optional, but your upline will tell you that if you really want to succeed in your business, you can’t miss it.
- Coach Summit is from $195 to $295 depending on when you buy it. This doesn’t include your hotel, car rental, airfare, and pricey restaurant food which easily adds another $1500 in costs.
What are the pros and cons of Team Beach Body?
Here are the pros:
- Wide range of products
- Been in the business since 1998
- Support and training
Here are the cons:
- Packages are not cheap, can find similar products on Amazon
- Strong focus on recruitment
- 95% of Beach Body coaches do not make money
My Finals thoughts
Before you decide to join Team Beach Body. I would recommend that you try out the products first. See if it’s a fit for what you’re looking for.
If you don’t believe in the products that you are selling, chances are others wouldn’t. Makes sense, right?
If you’ve decided that you want to join Beach Body, you must have the following if you want to succeed:
- A support team and system that will help build your business.
- A mentor that will take you by the hand and help you reach your dreams and goals.
- A constant flow of new leads and prospects that want to join your business.
It is not easy to be successful in the Beach Body business and which is why more than 95% fail.
If you feel the person you are going to sign up with is not going to be able to give you the necessary tools to help you succeed…
