The Secrets To Avoiding Failure In Your Network Marketing Business

Most people are going to tell you that it’s not knowing exactly what to do, not having the technical know-how, or not having access to the resources necessary to take that big from just playing around that something that they want to get good at and finally getting really, really good.

But that’s only one small piece of the puzzle – and most folks stumble a lot sooner than marshaling up the resources or developing new skills that would take them to the top.

No, most folks slam into a major roadblock well before they get started AT ANYTHING. A big, old anvil falls right on top of their goals, dreams, and aspirations (right out of the clear blue sky, but you can set your watch to it) and stops them dead in their tracks.

It’s the fear of failure.

For one reason or another, even when presented with a world-class opportunity, like building a business online, with next to no startup costs at all and complete and total freedom – including financial freedom – within the grasp of anyone with nothing more than an idea and internet connection, folks just can’t quite get past the fear of failure. It slams the door on their dreams faster than they ever would have thought possible.

Believe it or not, though, there is a real secret to avoiding failure that literally ANYONE can put into play (right now, this very minute) that completely blows through this obstacle as though it didn’t exist in the first place.

No, we’re not talking about liquid courage or mind-altering substances here. Instead, we are talking about good old-fashioned execution.

The Secret To Avoiding Failure Is To Put One Foot In Front Of The Other

The cold, hard reality of life is that it is absolutely impossible (IMPOSSIBLE) to avoid failure completely.

We all struggled to form our first sentences, we all had a tough time figuring out how to tie our shoes, and believe it or not even those superstar track athletes or legendary Olympic swimmers weren’t born with the ability to hit the ground running or swimming like a fish straight out of the womb.

No, each and every one of us had to deal with bumps and bruises along the way. And thankfully none of our parents or so paralyzed by a fear of failure for us that the first time we stood up on wobbly legs and fell back down on our diaper and they didn’t give up on teaching us how to walk.

They pushed us through it, encouraged us to bounce right back up, and got us to keep putting one foot in front of the next. Before you know it we are cruising along like everyone else.

This is the secret to avoiding failure, the real secret, and the only secret that works.

You forget completely about trying to avoid failure and instead embrace it, falling in love with execution and marching towards your goals with a single-minded focus that you’re going to keep inching towards that finish line – pushing past these obstacles while recognizing that all of them can be overcome – and before you know it you’re on the other side wondering why you thought this was going to be so tough in the first place.

Reframe Failure For Autopilot Success

One of the most important things you can learn, particularly if you are going to be an entrepreneur in charge of your financial future, is the concept of reframing failure and completely robbing it of its ability to penalize you but instead to use it as a motivating force.

You see, the world’s most successful entrepreneurs understand better than most of that failure isn’t a punishment, it isn’t a sign of weakness, and it isn’t a permanent stain that’s going to follow you for the rest of your life.

Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, and every other legendary entrepreneur out there dropped the ball a lot more frequently than they hit a home run, but all of them – ALL of them – found ways to reframe failure and use it as a teaching moment rather than allow it to define them and derail them.

As soon as you stop looking at every business decision you make as a life or death decision, and instead start looking at these choices as laboratory experiments – the same way that a scientist would, never really be sure of what the final outcome would be but excited to learn whether or not these choices worked – the faster you are going to be able to succeed online.

This reframing of failure is a game-changer in every sense of the word.

It totally and completely destroys this fundamental obstacle to business success (and success in every other area of your life goals immediately and instead turns it into an ally. You stop acting powerless in the face of this obstacle and instead look forward to these failures.

Not because they don’t hurt and not because they aren’t going to slow you down on the pathway to success (they will certainly do both if you are ambitious), but because they aren’t permanent and because they have real value.

Yes, you’re reading it correctly.

Failure WILL be valuable when you see it as a teaching moment and commit to learning everything you can about why you failed and use that to fuel your success with each new online business experiment you make moving forward.

Most People Just Won’t Execute – And That’s The Real Failure

The reality of the online business landscape is that almost everyone on the planet dreams of being their own boss, sitting in their back bedroom in nothing more than their pajamas watching as their bank account fills with money – lifting a finger only occasionally to make a couple of simple decisions and to purchase entire wish lists on Amazon.

Unfortunately for most, and that’s where the online business dream lives and dies.

Sure, a lot of these “wantreprenuers” join leaders in their network marketing programs, download online marketing secrets and spend hours upon hours in Facebook groups or on digital forums hoping to find the next big secret they need to catapult themselves into another stratosphere of success.

But most of them aren’t ever going to read those programs, aren’t going to put those online marketing secrets into practice, and aren’t ever going to take the advice of the information they find on those forums to discover firsthand whether or not they really work.

Some of the most successful network marketers on the planet have been at this game long enough to learn that most people aren’t ever going to pop the shrinkwrap or cracked the cover of whatever it is they purchased – even if they sometimes spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars to get their mitts on these inside information programs.

Again, that’s because a fear of failure is blocking them from making any move at all, even one as simple and as straightforward as diving into the resources they purchased to help get them to the next level.

You see, these people are so paralyzed by a fear of failure that they lock up before they can ever confront this internal issue. They know that if they put the materials they purchased into play and things don’t work out there going to feel like a failure, so they keep searching for the “next big thing” – and most of the time that’s enough to keep them in their bubble (but it’s never enough to make them rich or financially free).

No. The secret to avoiding failure isn’t to avoid it at all.

Instead, it’s to embrace the fact – the reality – that failure is going to come your way whether you like it or not.

You can dream about being an entrepreneur, purchasing products left and right, and never opening them up or never opening up your online business. And before you know it, you’ll be old and gray with no energy to build that business and you’ll have failed completely.

On the other hand, you can lean into the fact that failure is very real and it’s going to do its level best to knock you off course.

This prepares you for the inevitable failure that EVERY single entrepreneur on the planet has faced and will continue to face going forward, lets you take those punches with a jaw of granite, and keeps you chugging along online towards the kind of financial future that those other wannabe entrepreneurs are only ever going to be able to dream about.

But not you.

By executing – by taking those small steps and compounding them one right after another – you are going to be much further along the path to success than ANY of those wannabes will ever be. When you shoot for the stars you might not reach them, but you aren’t going to come up with a handful of mud, either.

Think About Success

Ultimately, your mindset about success and failure plays a large role in the outcome. The more you insist that failure isn’t an option, the more likely you’ll fail.

Your fears can easily turn your fear into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So the next time you’re faced with a challenge, keep your focus on how you’re going to succeed, not how you’re going to escape failure. Instead of thinking, “I don’t want to lose,” instead say, “I want to win” and you’ll skyrocket your chances of success.

You only really have to do two things not to fail in MLM.

    1. Stick with it
    2. Do the work

It sounds really simple, but it is the truth. Most people give up in 30 to 90 days. The truth is, you won’t build a successful business of any kind in that time frame.

Next, you must do the work. Act as if you have one million dollars invested in your business. Show up every day. Plan your work and work your plan. Treat it like a million dollar business, not a hobby.

Do those two things and I can almost GUARANTEE you will eventually succeed in your business.
