Juice Plus+ MLM Review – Another MLM Juice Scam?

You are doing research on Juice Plus+ because someone approached you about it and you want to know if this company is legit or a scam. That’s what we’re about to find out.

If you have been here before, welcome back!

Thank you for taking the time to check out my Juice Plus+ review!

One of the common questions I get asked often is if Juice Plus+ a scam or not.

We’re going to take the next few minutes to take a look and get some answers.

The main concern I have for people who are researching this opportunity is that I don’t want them to get burned. In the profession of network marketing, anything could happen.

A company ends up shutting down in a few months due to bad business decisions for being non-compliant, compensation plan change, or the company not paying it’s distributors.

Even worst, your direct sponsor or upline leaves the company. Leaving you hanging to dry.

I understand that many of you are new. Sometimes we are not in a position to make a solid business assessment due to inexperience.

Additionally, I am going to offer you a way for you to escape the ‘9 to 5’ if you decide that this company is not for you.

More information about this program will be at the end of this post.

You landed on this blog because you are thinking about joining Juice Plus+ because someone approached you about it or you just want to try out their products.

Unlike all the other Juice Plus+ reviews on the internet, this is completely third party unbiased. I have no relationship with this company what so ever so when you read this blog post all the way through and pay attention, I can assure you that I am not going to ask you to join or buy.

By the time you have read this unbiased review, you will be able to decide if Juice Plus+ is a fit or not. I do not promote, nor I am affiliated with Juice Plus+. I stand neutral in the current development of the Juice Plus+ business.

With that said, let’s dive in!

What is Juice Plus+?

Juice Plus is an MLM health and wellness company founded by Jay Martin in 1993 with the premise of helping build a business and a healthy lifestyle through their variety of juices.

Now in terms of it being an MLM company makes it a little complicated. Basically how it works is that the company isn’t operated as an MLM as Juice plus isn’t actually it’s own separate company, it’s more so a branded line of dietary supplements.

I’ll need to go into a little history behind Jay Martin and why Juice Plus is what it is.

Jay Martin created a company called  “National Safety Associates (NSA)” back in 1970.

Since then, he’s created a few other product lines which include fire detectors in the 1970s, water filters in the early 1980s and air filters in later in the 1980s.

Juice Plus is pretty much just another line of products that Jay has created for his business, however, unlike the aforementioned products, although Juice Plus’ dietary supplements are a part of NSA they’re manufactured by a different company called National Alternatives International (NAI).

Juice Plus is a whole-food-based dietary supplement that combines 30 different fruits, vegetables and grains fortified with key vitamins and antioxidants, and is said to boost your nutrients intake. The supplements come in the convenient form of capsules and shakes. The product contains orange, apple, papaya, beet, cranberry, peach, beta carotene, pineapple, carrot, cabbage, garlic, spinach, tomato, folic acid, kale and broccoli among others.

The products can either be purchased from the official website, or from distributors. The Juice PLUS+ Franchise business model is in the form of franchising, direct sales, and network marketing. The owners claim that it gives distributors a chance to earn additional income while offering healthy lifestyle solutions.

Juice Plus products are marketed by individual distributors who receive sales commissions ranging from 6% to 14%.

What does Juice Plus+ sell?

Almost all health & wellness like Zrii, Herbalife and 4Life, they produce different yet similar nutritional supplements.

When the nutritional supplement market is becoming more like a competitive red ocean, Juice Plus is producing pretty unique supplements that are based around real fruits and vegetables.

Nobody can explain better than Juice Plus themselves. So let’s take a look at this video:

In a few simple steps, this is what Juice Plus does:

  1. They “juiced” fruits & vegetables
  2. Remove carbohydrates from the juice
  3. Add in vitamins and other nutrients
  4. Dehydrate the juice and put them into pills

And that’s basically how they create their unique supplements as a way to “replace” fruits and vegetables.

Here are their flagship products:

  • Orchard blend (fruit juice powder-based supplement) – Containsapple, peach, cranberry, orange, papaya, acerola cherry, pineapple, prune, date, and beet.
  • Garden blend (vegetable juice powder-based capsules) – Contains broccoli, parsley, tomato, carrot, garlic, beet, spinach, cabbage, oat bran, rice bran, and kale.

Other products they have include meal replacement shakes, soups & bars.

The Juice Plus+ compensation plan

As per the Juice Plus compensation plan, there are 7 promotional levels. Once you reach a designated level, that will be your permanent level until you reach enough sales to move to the next level. So, in other words, you can’t get demoted if you don’t make any sales. Your level is fixed.

These are the levels starting from the lowest to the highest rank and what they can earn:

  1. Distributor: Retail sales profit only
  2. Direct Distributor: Retail sales profit + 6% commission
  3. Virtual Franchisee: Retail sales profit + 14% commission
  4. Sales Coordinator: Retail sales profit + 22% commission
  5. Senior Sales Coordinator: Retail sales profit + 22% commission
  6. Qualifying National Marketing Director: Retail sales profit + 22% commission
  7. National Marketing Director: Retail sales profit + 22% commission

How to join Juice Plus+

To join, you need to pay a $50 one-time signup fee, which includes basic training, marketing materials, custom website, back-office, and some other resources to help you get started with the business.

Apart from that, you need to maintain a monthly order of around $70 minimum.

What are the pros and cons of Juice Plus+?

Here are the pros:

  • Juice Plus has been around for almost 25 years and is run by a company that has been in existence since 1970
  • Health and wellness products are super popular
  • The products are good quality and well-received

Here are the cons:

  • As with all MLM systems, the products are super expensive
  • This is a highly competitive niche to try and make money in
  • You are also dealing with a company that has been actively recruiting since 1993
  • The average yearly income for any MLM distributor is only about $400
  • Most people make zero dollars from the business side of MLM companies
  • The health claims of Juice Plus products have been heavily disputed

My Final Thoughts

Before you decide to join Juice Plus+. I would recommend that you try out the products first. See if it’s a fit for what you’re looking for.

If you don’t believe in the products that you are selling, chances are others wouldn’t. Makes sense, right?

If you’ve decided that you want to join Juice Plus+, you must have the following if you want to succeed:

  • A support team and system that will help build your business.
  • A mentor that will take you by the hand and help you reach your dreams and goals.
  • A constant flow of new leads and prospects that want to join your business.

It is not easy to be successful in the Juice Plus+ business and which is why more than 95% fail.

If you feel the person you are going to sign up with is not going to be able to give you the necessary tools to help you succeed…

this is all bullshit. Me and my spouse was on Juice Plus for over a year. We had always eaten our recommended amount of fruits and vegetables daily. I personally saw no difference taking Juice Plus and my spouse’s blood pressure and cholesterol increased. He was on blood pressure and cholesterol medicine. Juice Plus was acting against his pills as one of them has pineapple and that is not supposed to be taken with blood pressure medicine. No one that I know who sells Juice Plus asks you what medicine you are taking or to get advice from your doctor first. BIG MISTAKE. Talk to your doctor before taking any supplements. Also, if the soil is so bad for whole foods, why is the same fruits and vegetables now okay in a pill form. Contradictory information.
