How To Help Someone Achieve Success In Their Business

Every entrepreneur wants their business to run till the end of time. Every entrepreneur wants his/her idea to become a reality and make its name. In order to achieve these objectives, both of them work hard on their minds and make it the strongest part of the body, so that it figures out ways and tricks to help achieve the respective goals and objectives.

No denying the fact that a strong and committed mind is a major contributor to success, however, to me there is another factor as well that makes success a complete and true success. It is the heart or the spirit of a person. When a strong mind has a good spirit to accompany it then a person becomes successful in the real sense and is able to do wonders.

Keep An Eye On The Effects

The best thing you can do as an entrepreneur is to be empathetic with your business partners and clients whenever making a decision. Every action you make from the one side of the table can change the world of the person standing on the other side of the table. Therefore, always remember that it’s not a single person who will get affected by your decision, rather there will be a family and friends of the person who will share the experience with the poor soul. Therefore, a refine and pure spirit will always keep an eye on the cause and effect phenomenon.

Intentions

Further to the cause and effect cycle, you have to identify good intentions and stick to them at a personal level. If your objective from the business is to make it a monetary success, then you won’t empathize, neither will you be considerate when it comes to dealing with employees who also have a family like you. However, if your intentions from the business are to make your family happy and be able to enjoy a good life with them, then the same intentions will reflect in your dealing with employees and subordinates. You will empathize more and thus you will feel good inside and this feeling of happiness and elated spirit will come into action when you are at the table eating with your family or just enjoying a picnic in the park. Therefore, have clear and good intentions about what your objective of success is and to what extent can you go to achieve it.

Redefine Your Purpose

Say you are a successful entrepreneur, but people don’t like you? You are the boss of your business, but no one respects you at home? People need to listen to you but they never want to listen to you? If this is what you are experiencing then, you need to reconsider the purpose with which you pursue things. If at present your purpose is to make as much money from the business as possible for which you don’t give time to your family, work as a dictator at work, and don’t let people share and open their mind to you, then all these things can take a toll on you and you will experience the experiences mentioned above. Therefore, to keep the spirit light and your life happy and truly successful, reconsider and redefine your purpose of all this striving and thriving.

Give Back

You can be the most successful person on the face of this earth, you can always learn from the best and sharpen your mind, but let me tell you one thing, the feeling you experience when you give back to someone is priceless and no successor status can replace it. Therefore, for completion of true success, you need to give back to people by sharing your value, helping them find ways to success, and assist them whenever they come to you for help. Giving back is one of the greatest things you can do to help someone improve their life.

Nice post Nate, as usual. 🙂

They say something like, the best way to get business is to help people solve their problem. Even a little success and they will become a raving fan. These same people will open and read every email you send out. They will return to buy more of what your selling.

I personally have found that helping my customers comes back big time. Just answering their questions and a little advice or guidance and they come back time and time again as repeat customers.

I’ve taken the time (few minutes) to help a customer and they turn around and spend $100. Plus they will be back for more. Sure not bragging, just saying, you can NOT underestimate the power of helping people. Even just showing there is a real person behind the web site can do wonders. Show them some one that is willing to help them success and your business increases dramatically.

I also try to over deliver when I can. Another powerful concept is to reward or acknowledge your customers as often as you can. Don’t know if that is really giving back, but sort of?

Or maybe I got off topic 🙂

    Hello,

Wonderful insights in the post, I think helping other will also improve our skills and that may be added as our portfolio or achieve some good outcome.

    Thanks

Hi Nate, I like to help others with their online business so they don’t go through some of the pitfalls and mistakes that I did. I don’t often think of what it will do for me or my business but rather a way to give back and feel good about myself. I had others help me along the way so I like to pass it along!

  4. Those are some very honest and important points. I used to work for a director who had no interest in his employees–it was all about the money. Needless to say, nobody respected him or wanted to work there. They did the bare minimum to keep their jobs and keep the money coming in. Unfortunately, people leaving–and not always for better prospects financially–hasn’t changed his view on the workplace. I wish I could send this straight to him to make a point!

Zig Ziglar said it best… “If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want.” 🙂

    Hi Nate,

Aiming to help people with their business is something we all should do not just because of the financial benefits we may see, but because we never know when we are going to be the one who needs the help. A selfish way of thinking can really cause others to turn their back when you may need them most.

  8. Nate, I completely agree that you can get a lot more traction and success by using empathy, patience, and generosity. Giving back and being patient might be the two greatest things you can do for your business – especially in network marketing.

Judy was right on when she commented with Zig Ziglar’s quote!

    Nate,

Far and away giving back elicits the greatest feeling of joy. Success follows free givers. Point blank. Habitually give freely to receive easily. Pay it forward. Thanks dude!

Great tips on how to help others succeed in business! It’s all about giving back….what you give out to the universe…you are sure to get back!!

  23. Hi Nate!

This is the best advice one can adhere to. If you are focusing on making money, you won’t be as successful as focusing on bigger things. Things that are way more important than the numbers of dollars you make.

It is ALL about giving back. The story of “A Christmas Carol” comes to mind. Scrooge had to learn that money wasn’t everything. Giving was! He obtained lots of wealth but was miserable. Then after being enlightened he was so happy to give.

Defining our purpose and clearly communicating that is a great way to be successful. When we do this it allows others the opportunity to refer people from their tribe to our products or services. What we give to others comes back 10 fold…
