How To Fail Forward: Turning Mistakes Into Stepping Stones for Success

In this interview, I share my story, through my failures and struggles.  Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to be successful.  Being a second generation Chinese American, I felt pressures from my family to always do well in school, and to go out into the world and get a good job and “hope” that I can retire from the job and enjoy a pension after I retire. I've always known in my heart that I wanted to do something big with a sense of purpose in life.

In 2001, I was introduced to a business model that I've never seen before.  My first 7 years, I failed and made a ton of mistakes.  I persevered and pushed hard because I wanted to become a better marketer. Years later, I discovered why I failed for so many years and that was due to a few tiny mistakes that I never thought of at the time.  Sometimes, you hear things but you don't really “hear” them.   You'll see what I mean by watching this video!

I hope you enjoy the interview.  If you find value, please leave me your feedback in the comments section below!  Until Then!

To your Success,

Nate Leung
