What to expect when starting an online business.
Everyone starting off brand new wants to know the step by steps on how to build an online business from scratch.
This is always a fun topic to talk about. There are so many moving parts that make the online business model work.
1. Define your avatar.
An avatar is your audience. These are the people that will resonate with you and your content the most.
An example of an avatar is:
✔️ Someone who lives in the United States.
✔️ Between the age of 30-40 years old.
✔️ Left-handed.
✔️ Enjoys playing golf.
Likes to travel and take vacations.
A common mistake I see is that everyone wants to market to the world.
There are 8 billion people on this planet. You don’t have to target everyone.
Your message is important because it will filter out the ones who want your help. They will also resonate with your message because they are like you.
You also understand their point points and what they are struggling with.
2. Pick an affiliate offer or service.
If you’re reading this right now, more than likely you don’t have a product.
Don’t worry about that too much and here’s why…
The benefit of not having a product, or service, is because you can market other people’s products.

3. Create and produce content.
Producing content is going to be your way of generating leads and making sales.
Remember, that you’re not here to sell. The money you earn is in direct proportion of how many people you can help. This is how your influence and relationships will grow. When you grow these two factors, your business will flourish.
You can produce your content on Facebook or YouTube.
At the end of your content, you will want to add a ‘call to action’. This is also known as CTA. You’re getting the avatar to take action on a recommendation (more on this in the video below).
You want to do this every single day and this is how you build your business from scratch.

I totally agree with you about not trying to appeal to everyone, we are a real life business with an online presence and exactly the same applies. You need to know your target market.
