Team Beach Body’s Vanilla Shakeology vs. Body FX’s Shake FX Supplements

There are a number of so called “protein shakes” and “meal replacement shakes” on the market, which can make it difficult to decide which is the best. Two of the most popular are Shakeology by Beach Body and Shake FX by Body FX. If you just took a cursory glance at the labels you might not be able to find much difference between these two products, especially if you are unsure what to look for. Here is a breakdown of Beach Body’s Shakeology vs. Body FX’s Shake FX, which will demonstrate some of the clear differences between these two products.

Team Beach Body's Vanilla Shakeology vs. Body FX's Shake FX SupplementsThe Similarities Between Shakeology and Shake FX

Although there are some crucial differences between Shakeology and Shake FX, there are also plenty of similarities. Both products claim the following benefits:

-They will help you to lose weight

-They will reduce cravings and suppress the appetite

-They will increase energy levels, making it easier to workout longer

-They will help with digestive issues and keeping the system regular

-They both have great taste

In addition, both of these products boast that they can be used as part of a “meal replacement system,” in which you replace one or more meals each day with one of these shakes. Both of these products also use a proprietary blend of ingredients. It might seem like these products are identical and really have no major differences but this is not the case.

The Differences Shakelogy and Shake FX

Now that we know how Shakeology and Shake FX are the same, it is time to take a look at the important ways that they are different. The biggest difference between these two products has to do with the type of proteins that are used and how this protein is absorbed into the body.

Both products have high levels of protein, but Shake FX uses proteins that have a staggered distribution, which means they are released at different times. Scientists have identified staggered distribution as one of the keys to rest, recovery and the utilization of amino acids, which help to build muscles. The proteins in Shake FX are also very easy to digest and do not cause allergic reactions.

Shake FX also has a much higher level of leucine. Leucine is important because it triggers protein balance in the body. Some people will claim that it is only important to eat a lot of protein, but this is not true. Proteins that are rich in lucene help keep the body’s protein levels balanced, which is the best way to effectively utilize amino acids

Another important difference between the two products deals with powders vs. concentrates. Shakeology claims to provide up to nine servings of fruits and vegetables in each shake, however, this is misleading, as these servings are in powders that do not allow the body to get maximum nutrition. Shakeology also uses whey protein isolates that are known to contain only 50-70% protein, while Shake FX has a protein blend that is 85% protein.

Shake FX uses concentrated SpectroActives that are EIGHTEEN TIMES more potent than the powders found in Shakeology. This means that you are getting eighteen times more value from Shake FX then you get from Shakeology. Even people that can’t understand the science behind why Shake FX is better can certainly understand that it is better to get something that is eighteen times more powerful.

These differences when it comes to protein and concentrates are the biggest reasons why Shake FX is a better product, even though it may look similar to Shakeology.

The Verdict

Although both are quality products, Shake FX is clearly better than Shakeology. It uses concentrated forms of protein that contain more leucine and the SpectroActives are far more powerful. If you are looking for a good protein shake, Shake FX is the clear choice.  To find out more information or to buy Shake FX, you can do so by clicking here.

I love the taste of Shake FX. I’ve given some to other people to try and most either like it or love it. I’ve had one that said that it’s just ok. Overall, I’ve actually given out 24 packs of the stuff and have yet to find someone that hates it. So, taste…4 out of 5. To be fair, if you mix in some fruit the taste goes up to a 5!.

    Hi Nate,

I’m glad I found your site. I’ve been a user of Shakeogloy for a few months. I’m not a fan. I didn’t like the taste and how it made me feel afterwards. It took me a few months after that bad experience to find Shake FX. I’m so excited to have found Shake FX. This stuff is awesome! I take it every time after I work out. I’ll be reaching out to you when I’m ready to join Body FX. Thank you Nate.
