How to Smash Fear in 3 Simple Steps

Although the incredible Hulk is a character full of rage, however, despite all his rage and anger the thing that fantasizes us all about incredible Hulk is his invincibility. All of us want to feel invincible Hulk if not actually be like him. Therefore, more than often there are times in our lives when we think that if we were Incredible Hulk we could sustain a particular setback and rise again, but sadly, none of us is Incredible Hulk.

No denying the fact that we can’t be incredible Hulk, as it would require a particular mishap and gamma rays procedure; however, we can surely feel like incredible Hulk. Besides the basic requirements of feeling like Hulk, which is making fear your friend, there are certain other things that you can do which will make you feel invincible. In the lines below, I shall discuss the three things, which you need to do in any field in order to feel invincible like incredible Hulk.

How To Feel Invincible Like the Incredible Hulk

Know The Principle

Everything that we do has some principles upon which it is run. Whether it is business, sports, social life, studies or any other thing that you undertake in life, it is based upon certain principles. These principles make sure that the activity you are performing is done in the best way possible. The question arises is that there are lots of people that know the principle, yet they are vulnerable and don’t have that invincibility in them. The answer to it is the fact that people adopt principle without knowing them, thus there is a possibility that whatever principles are adopted by the masses they are inefficient and non-optimal, thus in order to be invincible, you need to know and understand the true principles that give you the edge over others. Thus, when you have the edge the feeling of being Hulk will start finding its roots in you.

Material and Methods

The reason why people don’t achieve success in their undertakings or don’t feel like Hulk is that they either adopt the best methods, or they find the best material. The use of any of them suffices their needs and helps them perform an ordinary job in whatever they have an activity they have undertaken. On the other hand, if people were to use both the best method with the best material approach then they would surely have an edge and superiority over those who use either of the approaches, thus helping them feel like Hulk. Therefore, in order to feel like Hulk you need to select the best material and then utilize it in the best method, which will make you feel different and stronger than others.

How To Feel Invincible Like the Incredible Hulk

Explicit and Implicit

Like material and methods, the other reason why people do ordinary things and never achieve excellence in their field that will make them feel like Hulk is that either they focus on the explicit factors that affect their performance or they have all their attention focused on the implicit factors that are influencing the outcomes of their efforts. Thus, because of having a single view, which is either of the surface or of the underlying depth, people aren’t able to perform their work or anything they do with excellence. Thus if you wish to have that Hulky feeling in you, then you need to broaden your vision and keep an eye on the explicit and implicit factors that can affect your performance. When you have that figured out, then you would surely achieve a higher level of performance, which will give you the same feeling of invincibility, which Hulk possesses.

Now it’s Your Turn!

Those are some really valuable points to consider. I guess, Hulk was invincible, no doubt, but its also true that he was completely vulnerable on the inside. That’s a point which I so relate to with him.

Anyway, some of the strong points about how to defeat fear given by you are really valuable.

    Thanks!

    Hello Nate!
    I love this article!!

When I was a kid, I loved watching The Incredible Hulk show along with Wonder Woman and The Bionic Man. What I especially loved about Hulk is that he had a good heart, but society saw him as a monster. I learned in that show that appearances can be deceiving.

Hulk was invincible because he was a man of business – he persevered – he stayed strong, he used his best material (strength) and then utilized it in the best method he new how and he therefore succeeded in his calling.

    Thanks Nate!
    Healthy Blessings,
    Gena

Great post Nate! I have trained myself to respond to fear differently. Me doing that served me in eliminating a 24 year struggle with panic attacks, which was basically fear driven.

    Hi Nate,

The use of the incredible hulk as an illustration really gave a true meaning to the subject of discussion.

Your explanation on the Explicit and Implicit factor is wonderful; your advice on keeping tab on both this factors will sure help to eliminate fear.

Thanks for sharing and have a prosperous new year.

    Another great post Nate…

I have always looked at fear and attaacked fear as an acronym (False…Evidence..Appearing …Real). Fear is the one thing that stops momentum in the things that one desires to do or accomplish in life. My daily actions have always propelled me beyond fear into faith….

Thanks Nate for this thought and post!

  7. Fabi says:

I have the experience of doing what I fear to prove I can do it.

  8. Clarissa says:

simpley asking myself if the fear is false evidence appearing real helps usually it’s not even real just made up 🙂

FEAR is nothing more than something we made up in our minds to believe is true. Thanks for the comments!

  9. Matt Ritchey says:

When I feel that feeling we call ‘fear’ I stop, recognize the excitement that accompanies it, and take a deep breath. Then if I still don’t want to move forward, I ask myself “what is it costing me to NOT do it. Where will I be if I continue to play small?”
This connects me to my WHY and brings out my Best Self!

  10. Another just post from you Nate.

Thank you for your points about the explicit factors and implicit factors. It is so easy to get off following a tangent that isn’t productive.

  15. Greg Mock says:

    Thanks Nate. Great advice.

  16. The main thing about getting rid of fears are setting BIG GOALS. Lets say you want to sponsor five people in 30 days. How many people do you have to talk to per week? How many per month? How many per day?

Its different for everyone but when you break it down into a day, it excites you and people can see the passion in your eyes that you are going somewhere and therefore they will be attracted to you like a magnet!
