Digital Genius Lab (DGL) Review – Read This Before Your Pull Out Your Credit Card

Let us address the burning question off the cuff. Is Digital Genius Lab a Scam?  That’s what most people want to know.  Obviously, that’s why you’re here right?

You may encounter some perplexities at the outset, you might dillydally on whether or not to join the program and you may very well find the proposition unsuitable for you or you could be the right man for the job. All these variables exist, as they do in case of every other business opportunity.

Digital Genius Lab is an affiliate marketing opportunity. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, not even those who are not apart of DGL. It is not some turnkey solution that will make you a millionaire overnight.

There are a plug and play setup, there are ready tools you can use and you would be handheld through the process, right from the start. However, you would have to brainstorm a little and harness your strengths to make money.

⛔ STOP! Before You Keep Reading, I Must Warn You About The DGL Online Reviews That You Have Been Seeing! ⛔

Whether we trust them or not, we all read internet reviews on Google. Before we make a purchasing decision, we want the best and we care about what we are buying, including those five-star ratings… to a degree that might surprise you.

It’s estimated that 95 percent of online shoppers look at reviews before buying. If a company does not provide reviews or testimonials, or maybe even negative reviews, you are statistically less likely to buy from them.

Not only that, but 84 percent of us trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations from sources, that we know, like and trust.

In short, reviews matter.

Many of Digital Genius Lab’s reviews currently come from their competitors, which is important to note. It doesn’t necessarily make these reviews unfair or unfounded, but the intention of these reviews and the reason they were written isn’t just to share information but written for a personal gain.

I’ll show you what I mean.

Source: Bare Naked Scam

It’s a bit like having Coke review on Pepsi – there’s an ingrained bias that’s almost impossible to eliminate. And, in the end, they’re still trying to sell you something for their personal gain.

Yet another review suggests DGL is an MLM. You don’t even have to scroll down the page to find the reviewer promoting their own money-making system, as well as a service to “get your money back” if you’ve been scammed.

Source: Dale Rodgers

This reviewer is trying to promote themselves. And they’re doing it by targeting traffic that wants to learn about Digital Genius Lab.

As you can see, they use the same lingo and terminology their own marketing pitch, make money online, earn up to $x every month, no experience needed…

When you’re reading a negative review, it’s always important to consider the context.

There are a few questions that should be asked when it comes to reading an online review.

Does this review come from a real person who used the product?

Was it written by a competitor selling their own similar service?

If you’re genuinely interested in a service, you want information from someone who actually used it; not a competitor who’s trying to promote their own services for their own personal gain.

That’s why member reviews are so valuable, like the one you are reading now.

As of this writing, DGL’s website is locked, and only DGL members can view the content.

But when you’re looking at a member review, there are a few things to keep in mind, too.

Are members providing legitimate concerns, or did they expect the product to work without putting in the necessary effort?

Even positive reviews can require a second look. If a member is trying to make a sale or recruit a new member, the review may gloss over certain drawbacks that you really want (or need) to know about.

In my experience, DGL isn’t a goose that lays golden eggs. It’s a training system that provides support and a ready-to-sell product to entrepreneurs who want to develop and grow businesses online. And, they seem to be open about what it takes to succeed in the program. That is, essentially, their mission.

In the end, it does require work.

It’s not “press a few buttons” and snap your fingers and then you get paid 6-figures or get rich quick.

I joined Digital Genius Lab (including their Fast Track Triple Pack [30-Day Fast Track, 90-Accelerator, Mastermind League Program]); and built a relationship with Chris Baden and Sean Malone.

I’m not trying to sell you an online money-making system (or anything). I’m telling you about my experience and what you can expect if you are considering joining DGL.

Now that I got this out of the way, let’s continue…

Shall we?

What is Digital Genius Lab?

In a nutshell, Digital Genius Lab is an affiliate marketing program that will train you to become familiar with internet marketing and how to build a business online and other digital marketing techniques so you can reach out to a vast audience, generate traffic and route them to the sales funnel that the company has put in place. Once the traffic is churned through the sales funnel leading to a sale, you earn handsome commissions, to the tune of a thousand bucks and even more per sale in some cases.

Digital Genius Lab brands itself as a digital marketing and training platform wherein you can learn how to use paid ads on Facebook to promote the business. The founders Chris Baden and Sean Malone have put together a backend sales funnel that does most of the job. All you have to do is source the traffic and drive it to the sales funnel created by DGL. This can seem like a cakewalk for anyone who is somewhat aware or familiar of how Facebook ads work. DGL has a webinar and other resources created by digital marketing geniuses that can help those who are unfamiliar with paid ads on Facebook so this program is for anyone who has a penchant to embark on a digital enterprise.

What is Digital Genius Lab? Is It An MLM?

Digital Genius Lab is not a multilevel marketing program or a pyramid scheme. Now before you conclude that it is a scam since many multilevel marketing programs apparently are, let us remember the history of Amway, Nu Skin, Forever Living, and Herbalife. These are just some of the dozens of brands that started out as multilevel marketing programs, it doesn’t mean they are a scam.

Amway has been in business since 1959. Nu Skin was launched in 1984. Herbalife has been doing business for almost four decades now. It is unwise to bash every multilevel marketing program because of what it is. Many such programs have empowered people in far-flung areas of many countries. Unlike in major cities and for graduates or postgraduates with professional experience, many people do not have many opportunities and such programs have really helped them turn the tide in their favor. Whether you live in a metropolis or in a hamlet, people to people networking will continue to remain relevant, which is why such programs are still popular around the world.

You could argue the potential of one program and you must avoid schemes that are an outright sham but there are legitimate campaigns promoting real products. That is what Digital Genius Lab is doing. It is effectively promoting Enagic on the back end. We shall talk about Enagic in a bit…

Digital Genius Lab Business Model

The goal of DGL is to provide online marketers with the education, skills, and resources necessary to build a successful business online by being a marketing platform and teaching course.

How do you become successful in DGL?

They take the brand new person with no experience through a process.  Every member who joins gets access through 5 training modules.

Module 1. They teach you how to set-up, season, moderate, and grow a Facebook fan page. By marketing strategically on Facebook, members are able to generate their own leads and make sales, all while learning how to repeat that success selling their own (or other affiliates) products.

Module 2. They teach you how to create a unique domain, sales funnel, and a “Thank You” video, which DGL teaches you how to film and install. Building a website, creating sales funnels, and automating communication with leads and customers are all central to building an online business.

Module 3. With the platforms from Modules 1 and 2 in place, it’s time to start advertising. Facebook is a vital platform for online marketers. But, its complexity and regular changes to advertising algorithms can make Facebook seem inaccessible for new entrepreneurs. In its 3rd module, DGL teaches members how to get set-up as a business manager, create an ad account, target a specific audience, and run post-engagement ads to automatically follow up with warm leads.

Module 4.  This is the best module where you get to learn marketing and advertising secrets to help your business thrive. In other words, you get to know ad columns, how to interpret ad data, the six most successful ad types, Facebook ad guidelines, and how to place a “conversion” ad.

Module 5. In their final “basic” module, DGL empowers you to analyze campaign performance, scale-up, respond to “more info” comments and utilize leads and buyers to increase engagement and conversions.

Along with these modules, DGL also provides a variety of packages for people who want to get started even faster. Depending on your goals—whether you want to launch right away or take the slow and steady route—there are a variety of options.

Making money with Digital Genius Lab – Is it a scam or real?

There are two goals of every member of the Digital Genius Lab. These are not steps as there could be several phases leading up those two objectives.

The first goal of every member is to promote DGL and to encourage others to join the program.

The second goal of every member is to promote and sell Enagic products on the back-end. Promoting the business and selling the products will earn you handsome commissions. The commissions are indeed generous. That is partly because the products are high end and sell at premium prices. But most state of the art products will sell at substantial prices. You cannot have the best products at the cheapest prices.

The Digital Genius Lab 90 Day Accelerator Program – The Fast Track Triple Pack

The Triple Pack consists of the 30 Day Fast Track, 90 Day Accelerator, and the DGL Mastermind League.

You can purchase all at once or simply start with the 30 Day Fast Track. Or, you can just use the marketing resources and platform you learned in the first 5 modules.

To help you decide what package is right for you (if any), let’s dive into all three components of the Fast Track Triple Pack.

The 30 Day Fast Track

This is a 4-week program that comes with two business coaches from the DGL community.

The structured, step by step curriculum is designed to help get your business off the ground fast.

It’s focused on helping you achieve your first “optimized” marketing campaign. You do this by defining and hitting a target.

The 30 Day Fast Track also offers ad review for compliance, content, and concepts, which ensures your campaign meets Facebook standards while staying true to your personal brand.

At the end of the program, DGL rewards you with a graduation t-shirt at no cost, which is pretty fun and helps members feel more like a community than competitors.

In order to move onto the 90 Day Accelerator Program, you must show proof that you graduated from the 30 Day Fast Track.

90 Day Accelerator

This 13-week program comes with one video per day for 90 days to advance your marketing goals. These videos happen in succession, making it easy to keep up with the program and achieve the desired results.

The objective of this program is to walk you toward your very first sale. It does this by building from your first campaign. Once you achieve your first sale, you win a set of sweatpants that matches the t-shirt from the 30 Day Fast Track.

Mindset Training

With big, daunting projects, it can be easy to get overwhelmed and throw in the towel. The 90 Day Accelerator accounts for this with Mindset Training.

Mindset Training starts with the law of intention—why are you doing this? What are your true motivations? Answering these questions prepares you to go get your next sale, rather than leaving you “wishing” for results.

Mindset Training is about positive thinking and keeping yourself accountable and motivated, which are all crucial aspects when growing a business. The failure rate for new businesses is around 50 percent. So, staying motivated is key.

Digital Genius Lab and Enagic Partnership

Digital Genius Lab is a front end offer for people who are looking for a change in their life.  Whether, it’s lifestyle, income, or just want to be part of a cool group of people, this is what DGL offers.  On the back-end, Enagic has its own direct sales team and marketing strategies in the markets they have a presence. They also work through independent distributors, as any other manufacturer in the world does. When you become a member of the Digital Genius Lab, you actually get an opportunity to become a part of the distribution team of Enagic.

But, members are not required to sell Enagic products. They are simply there to provide a way to implement the marketing strategies DGL teaches.

Who or What is Enagic?

Enagic, which is the registered trademark of Enagic International, is a brand of water ionization systems. Enagic manufactures, distributes and sells state of the art water ionizer systems that can take regular tap water and transform it into healthy and pure drinking water rich in hydrogen. It is a Japanese company founded in 1974. It is based at Okinawa in Japan but has offices worldwide. Enagic is the largest manufacturer and the most respected brand of water ionization systems, most notably the Kangen series which is a global bestseller.

For anyone who is unable to grasp what this ionization system can do, it basically uses electrolysis to purify water. The result is pure alkaline water. You may or may not be aware of this but pure and healthy water is not exactly pH neutral. It is and should be slightly alkaline, not acidic. Courtesy the treatment at modern plants and the source of water nowadays, our regular tap water has become slightly acidic. The product is hence quintessential and it caters to one of the most significant aspects of our lives: health.

Enagic has an expanding presence in Russia, India, and Brazil among twenty-five countries. It already has thirty-five offices beyond Japan. The company is fast venturing into an additional twenty countries. Enagic International has several certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485. It is known for its quality control. The company has been certified with the Water Quality Association Gold Seal and is a member of the reputed Direct Selling Association. The brand has received many accolades over the years for its environmental management.

Enagic’s Kangen Water® Systems are backed by scientific research & technology. The systems are designed by the finest Japanese engineers, known worldwide for their craftsmanship. It is the only brand specializing in water filtration using an alkaline-ionizer. It is an original equipment manufacturer or OEM. It does not distribute systems made by another company. It has captive manufacturing units, it owns the patents pertaining to the technology, the whole process from conception through development and production to supply as well as service is catered to by Enagic International. The products come with substantial warranty and support.

Who is behind Enagic?

The company is owned and run by President and CEO, Mr. Hironari Oshiro. The Enagic business has a solid foundation that is built in a Japanese market. The company has a proven product that works, and the business is not considered to be MLM, but a true direct sales program with a higher profit earning per sale.

The product is rights reserved as Kangen Water and is a registered trademark of the Enagic Company since 2003, therefore the location checks out.

Is Enagic Real or a Scam?

The definition of a scam is usually an act done by an individual or a group to defraud a person or customer out of their money. It’s done by a technique to gain their confidence first.

If you check your local city police site, they’ll likely have warnings on the latest scams. These often involve telephone calls. You may be told you owe taxes, or that your computer is failing. The tax scam involves sending money or gift cards to some guy in Nigeria. The computer scam involves them gaining remote access to your computer, then forcing you to turn over your credit card information, otherwise you’ll never get into your computer again.

A scam doesn’t involve the legitimate purchase of a product in exchange for cash. Have you ever bought an electronic item directly from China and it turned out to be a piece of crap? Well, that’s not really a scam either. Cheap junk, yes, but often a complaint to the company will net you a refund. Still not a scam.

Enagic is a legitimate company that sells high-quality water ionizer systems. These systems are guaranteed from defects for the first 30 days. At that point, it’s a no-questions-asked return/exchange for free. Each system is also backed up by a warranty and the length of the warranty depends on the machine you decided to purchase.

Last time we checked, no scam offered any guarantees or warranties!

If you’re still unsure and want to make sure that Enagic isn’t a scam, watch this video.

What is one of the main causes of Digital Genius Lab?

They are committed to creating a legacy of positive world impact. It’s our mission to serve as trusted allies in their relationships with one another, our clients and the world at large.

Their work is also motivated by a higher cause—to end world thirst. We not only provide ongoing support and meaningful services to clients but also donate one percent of our profits to NeverThirst, an organization that installs wells worldwide in communities that need them most. Each year, they provide several communities with easy access to clean drinking water.

Ready To Live The Life Of Your Dreams? You need to check this out before it’s too late

They believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. That’s why they uphold the promise to offer the best support and marketing services available. They’re not only growing a business, but they’re also creating a community that believes this life is a gift and greater than themselves.

They empower each of our clients with the tools and resources necessary to improve their lives. The more their clients succeed, the more they’re able to give back—to their loved ones, communities and the world. DGL believes in an integrated lifestyle that combines passion and hard work.

Within our organization and beyond, Digital Genius Lab is committed to giving back as we move courageously and powerfully forward. Together, they can change the world because we are the ones crazy enough to believe we can.

Should you join Digital Genius Lab?

This is a question no one can answer for you. If you are looking for an online business opportunity then you have to be prepared to sell something.

There is no free lunch. In many cases, online opportunities require you to sell subscriptions, some multilevel marketing programs have no products or services and they actually require the members to sell membership which makes no sense and there are businesses that promise to sell a plethora of goods but actually deliver nothing.

Digital Genius Lab sells a digital product, that too of a reputed company which is a market leader in its niche around the world.

The fact that neither Digital Genius Lab has millions of people already selling the product nor Enagic International has a saturated market in the United States or Europe, yet, should give you a glimpse of the scope of growth and expansion you can explore.

You don’t get rich by trying to sell something that people already own or what everyone else is selling.

You earn a fortune when you start solving people’s problems.

You are there to help people get results in their life.

Digital Genius Lab teaches people how to build a business online. Instead of setting up retail stores, the business has created a sales funnel. Instead of having people go out door to door or put up billboards, the platform requires digital entrepreneurs and self-employed marketers to capitalize on their online outreach and generate traffic to earn a substantial commission for every sale.

Would you rather sell something that has absolutely no tangible benefit for the buyer or would you promote a state of the art product that helps people and their families to be healthier?

Closing Thoughts

This post was not designed to lure you to sign up with me.  I wanted to help people understand what scams and pyramid schemes are.  10 out of 10 people have no clear idea of what either of them is.  Most of the assumptions that they make are dead wrong.

Despite what you may have read on Google or watched on Youtube, DGL and Enagic are real. They both are legitimate companies that provide awesome support and a lucrative compensation plan for its members and distributors.

Why the negativity in our marketplace? Because our competition chooses to waste their time bringing us down while they sell their own products or financial gain. It’s as simple as that. It’s a lot like politics!

The good guys are the ones who support everyone. We hope that our ideal prospects who are looking to join Enagic can make a more informed choice.

thanks for all this info and an open and honest review.. definitely know this is for me and wanna give it a shot!

  2. Kari Flynn says:

    Hey Nate,

Thank you for posting this. I heard about Digital Genius labs just recently, and all I’ve seen are these bullshit review sites trying to say bad things about this company whereas they are trying to market their own products.

Bare naked scam is just not only hurting himself but the industry as a whole for financial gain. All he does is google affiliate programs and makes them look like a scam so that he can get traffic. Let’s face it, negativity sells.

I’m glad to see honest and transparent marketers like yourself still exist. I will be in touch with you to sign up and be mentored by you.

  3. Martin John says:

I saw this come across my newsfeed the other day. I was doing my research on google and came across your site, Nate. Thank you for the information. I’m currently away on travel but will reach out to you when I am back in the country. Can’t wait to get started! Thank you my friend.

  4. Chan Sanwal says:

Wow, that timing couldn’t have been better. I’m sooo happy I found you because I am looking for a new affiliate program to promote and what’s super annoying is that I’m seeing all of these so called ‘scam buster’ sites, and they have no clue what they are talking about. They are all bait and switch! Whowever is teaching these newbie marketers to build a scam site like website should have a real talk with themselves. These guys act like they have integrity but the new person coming in doesn’t know that. Finally, like seriously… an honest person to tell the real truth and not trying to trick someone for the sake of trying to put down another program for their own financial gain. Thank you for the honest review and I will continue to do my research.

  5. Krystal says:

Do you know or heard of a program called Wealthy Affiliate? I’m not hearing very good things about it, my friend says it’s a scam. 🤣🤣🤣

There’s a bunch of them that are working together to bash other programs and companies to make theirs look good.

    • Nate Leung says:

I’ve never heard of that program but it doesn’t surprise me.

Personally, I do my due diligence between I promote any program.

But there are alot of people out there that are looking to make a quick buck to make other companies look bad. You’re right about that one!

I get dozens of messages from people telling me about these types of bloggers who only write negative blog posts to make theirs look good.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing your input.

  6. Skip Brown says:

My wife and I joined DGL about 18 months ago. We love the support and resources we have gotten. People actually care about our success!

After about a year of hard consistent work, we have been able to move into an RV and we now travel the country full-time working our business. If you have a strong work ethic and you just need direction and training, this platform could be the key to getting online and retiring from your job.

  7. Alex says:

You know, I don’t really know exactly what I expected coming into DGL. I was looking for something to do online for over a year. We were a full-time family, and we were stationary and looking for something that would allow us to get back on the road and make the same amount of income that we were already making in our other business. So coming into DGL we just thought, “Okay, they’re going to teach us a skillset, and we are going to pursue this online business, and hopefully it’ll get us back on the road.” That’s kind of the mindset we went into DGL with. My wife an I was a bit of a skeptic coming in initially, but now seeing the other side we are 100% believers in DGL.

  8. Olivia Liam says:

Hey nate, do you need any kind of online experience or business prior to join?

    • Nate Leung says:

      Hi Olivia,

Not at all. This program was designed for the brand new person who wants to generate an income online. ☺️

  9. Shelby Gamble says:

I’m just trying to get some help on how to make money online. I’m a newbie. Any information would be appreciated.

  10. Jill Redden says:

    Great review nate…

nice to see someone write an honest review on Digital Genius Lab. Well written.
